Notos PowerNotos Power Trading is one of only a few electricity marketing and trading companies that conduct business in Serbia. The current conditions of the electricity market in Serbia allow for the prospect of both the importing and exporting of power. After careful analysis, the trading industry for Serbia is assessed at 10 TW (terawatts = billion kilowatts), with 70% for imports and 30% available for exports. The method for participating in the provision of this commodity is through a bid process conducted by the state owned utility Elektroprivreda Srbije, EPS. EPS will issue a public tender for the desired quantity of electricity to be purchased or sold, and licensed entities will then submit their proposals. This process is straightforward and precise.

Notos Power is currently negotiating with several large energy trading firms in Europe. A European partnership would increase the size of Notos Power’s network of potential clients and allow for a more rapid expansion of activities. This exacting business will provide a platform for Notos Wind and its generated electricity – making Notos the only company in Serbia producing its own energy available for export.
